Now a question might come in your mind that it must be hassle to manage Lua, but to your surprise Lua is entirely controlled offline with help of its free mobile app.
All you need to do is to choose your plant’s family or exact type from a list, make Lua read the generated QR code, and you’re good to go! Even manual set up is available for you to have own preferred settings for the sensors!
To add a cherry on top, Lua also has a motion sensor that allows its eyes to follow the movements in front of it. You will love that Lua is looking at you and that is super cute. If there is no motion then, Lua will go back to sleep. This motion sensor makes Lua a lot more fun.

Thirsty: This animation will indicate that you need to water you plant as the soil moisture has dropped below the defined limit.
Sick: Don’t overflow your plant with water, it can kill it. Wait until Lua is actually thirsty.
Vampire: In dark lurks the Vampire, so after a few days if exposure to light is not sufficient Lua will display Vampire animation.
Squint: As long time in shade is bad for your plant, so is too much exposure to light, so when Lua is squinting it means it’s looking for shade.
Cold: When the temperature drops. Lua will sneeze the day after.
Hot: Lua is too hot.

Lua Conception & Development
Lua’s conception and development took 13 months. A fully working prototype is ready and the tooling as well as the components procurement will begin soon. The first few units will be tested prior to starting the mass manufacturing. The success of Lua is dependent upon the consumers and plant lovers and if all goes well the final product will be available by December 2019.
