There is a good news for all car enthusiasts who prefer environment friendly car and that too stylish. Tesla will come knocking the doors of Indian market in late 2019 as confirmed by Elon Musk on his Twitter handle.
Earlier too he had expressed his desire that he would love to be in India, but there are some challenging government regulations.
India is improving its ease of business ranking and has made a tremendous jump as per the World Bank report.
It is expected that these challenges will be taken care of.

Elon Musk has once again confirmed to bring Tesla Motors in India by 2019, with partial operations starting next year, followed by full operations by 2020. Elon Musk confirmed the all-electric car manufacturer’s India entry in a tweet to a user’s reply regarding its expansion plan of Tesla brand outside of current areas of operations. Elon Musk said – “Hopefully, partial presence in India, Africa & South America end of next year, with broader expansion in 2020.”

As it is decided that Tesla will enter India (still a formal communication pending), Tesla’s Model 3 will be their 1st product to be launched in India as it the most affordable Tesla car ever.
The plan makes all the more sense as India itself has planned to shuft from fossil fuel to complete electric vehicle (EV) mode by 2030. Earlier, the Space X CEO has already our impressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the power ball technology of Tesla Motors. A presentation on revolutionary electric technology in the works and how Tesla cars will completely overhaul the face of automobile industry was presented by Elon Musk himself to Mr. Modi. Tesla has already made inroads in India as an all-electric Tesla Model X SUV was spotted on the roads of Mumbai last year as well.
The price of Tesla Model 3 in India might range between Rs. 22 lakhs to 30 lakhs.
Musk will be visiting India in 2019 as already tweeted by him on his plan for India. We are hoping that on his visit he may finally announce the debut of Model 3 in India.
