Mobile features that you will be missing soon

Features going out of fashion from mobiles

Mobile technology is changing leaps and bounds, with every launch of a new mobile, some new features are added. These new features are not only making mobiles more useful but at the same time making many existing features redundant. Let’s see what are the feature we are missing or will be missing from our mobiles in the next few months or years.

1. Headphone Jack

We all love music and lot many gadgets have come and gone like the legendary Sony Walkman, MP3 Players, Apple iPod, CD player and many more. Now all of them are replaced by one gadget and that is your mobile. You just need to plug in your headphone in 3mm jack of your mobile and you are done.

Now to let you know, this 3mm jack will soon disappear from your mobile and there won’t be any slot for your you to plug your headphone. To add to my claim One+ 6T has already started this trend and OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has already said this with heavy heart that it was tough decision but they had done away with headphone jack slot. Although this move will improve the battery life of the phone.

2. Fingerprint Sensors

Next in line is fingerprint sensors at the back of your phone, which will soon be missing and Vivo Nex and One+6T have already done the same by building the sensors in the screen itself.

3. Speakers

Next to be vanishing from your mobile will be speakers. Sounds little astonishing but yes, this has also already happened with Vivo Nex. This again will help in saving battery of your mobile.

4. Chargers

With adevnt of wireless charging already available in Samsung phones use of charger is becoming redundant. With more advanced and sophisticated technology coming in near future will render wired chargers useless.

5. Sim Card Slot

Very soon sim card slots will be missing from your mobile as eSim is already in the market and in India Jio and Airtel are already providing eSim. The sim will be inbuilt in your phone and there will be no need for a separate slim slot. iPhone X and XS have a eSim and Airtel is providing the eSim to only postpaid customers.

The trend will continue and many more changes in mobile technology is expected and in future mobile will not be what it is today. Mobile World Conference held every year is one such place to find the latest in Mobile Technology.
