Petrol Variant : Keeping in mind its USP Maruti has launched Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018, at a starting price of Rs 8.19 lakh for the petrol manual Sigma, which goes all the way to Rs 10.97 lakh for the Alpha automatic variant.
Diesel Variant: The diesel variants, on the other hand, are priced between Rs 9.19 and Rs 10.97 lakh for the Sigma and Alpha variants, respectively. Flip-side to diesel version, they do not come with an automatic option. The Ciaz has been given a facelift and some tweaking to the engine too.

Notable changes include an all-new 1.5-litre K15B engine making 105PS@6000rpm and 138Nm@4400rpm. That’s a jump of 14PS and 8Nm over the outgoing model powered by the 1.4-litre engine. The new engine comes with the choice of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed AT torque converter. The diesel variants don’t see any change and are still powered by the 1.3-litre DDiS 200 unit that makes 90PS of max power and 200Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
